BE KIND TO YOURSELF AND TRUST IN THE PROCESS
Change takes courage.
I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years and embarked on my adventure as a yoga teacher in 2017.
My outlook on life and indeed my life itself has changed in such a positive way since I first found myself on the mat.
I've learnt so many tools along the way to help me deal with the curveballs that life so often throws up at us.
I'm not perfect, I still have moments of falling, slipping and searching for answers... but I recognise and acknowledge these situations much sooner and have methods to help me master them too.
Now I want to share these with you all.
It's not about being the bendiest, longest-headstanding person but about being the best you can be right here right now in this very moment.
Allow me to show you some simple techniques to awaken the master within, and learn to live your best life every day.
YOGA FOR THE BODY, BREATH, MIND & SPIRIT
The practice of being not doing.
Allowing yourself to truly experience everything that is presenting itself to you.
Accepting that like the waves in the ocean life will ebb and flow.
There will be times when you are compelled to cry and moments when you giggle with joy.
Learning to embrace life in all it's guises.
Being alive in this moment, right here, right now.
Without breath, we are nothing.
The human body can survive 8 to 12 days without food, 3-7 days without water, but only a matter of minutes without breath.
Aside from keeping us alive by supplying the body with oxygen, breath is not purely an involuntary action.
Through my own study of prānāyāma (breathing exercises) I have discovered how it aids relaxation, soothes anxious times and re-energises the body.
With practice we can learn to breathe in a conscious and controlled way to reap numerous physical and psychological health benefits.
Allow me to guide you and help you unlock one of the most powerful tools you have freely available to you every moment of every day.
