Yoga with LV currently offer two classes; Hatha and Yin yoga. For detailed descriptions of each class, see below. Yin classes are run once a month on the last available Tuesday. Hatha classes take up the remaining Tuesday sessions.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is a traditional form of yoga that focuses on balancing the body and mind through physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and relaxation. It’s typically slower-paced and gentle compared to more dynamic styles, making it accessible for beginners while still offering depth for experienced practitioners. The aim is to encourage the practitioner to feel into their mind, body and spirit and discover tools to help them accept themselves for the 'whole' unique person they are.

Yin Yoga
Yin yoga is a slow, meditative style of yoga where poses are held for several minutes at a time, usually in seated or reclined positions. Instead of targeting muscles, it works on the body’s deeper connective tissues, like fascia, ligaments, and joints, using gentle, sustained stretches. This practice encourages stillness, patience, and introspection, helping to release tension and promote relaxation while improving flexibility and circulation.
